I must live this time called life.
My goals may be different than others,
Because I no longer live for myself, but for my Father.
And my old reputation does not govern this new life.
As a warrior I stand.
The battles I fight are definitely not physical.
They are of the unseen, spiritual and invisible.
And trust I will do all I can before I just stand.
In my spare time and with joy I write.
I must study and perfect my gifts,
For I live for God and from Him I get my lifts.
As a man and by Him I write.
I must shift at times in this life and always be active.
My practice is to worship God every day,
As I guide others to Jesus, The only Way.
Remember, no one can change the world while being inactive.
The rules I obey are not mines,
Or the government’s, they are God on High’s,
As a transgressor I will not live a lie,
So don’t glory me, because my good works aren’t mines.
My main goal is not attainable in this life.
I wait for a reward that is eternal,
Because I wouldn’t give anything in exchange for my soul. (Matthew 16:26)
But while I’m here I must live an abundant life.
So let us live and love, being samurai for Jesus

A Love that is True
How shall a poem about true love start?
Well, I’ll just say “I have dipped the tip of my pen in the inkwell of my heart.”
My heart longs to speak to all and especially the youth.
As long as eternity is, God’s word is always truth.
“What is true love?” is the question.
Is true love a feeling or what?
And who amongst people is wise enough to teach this lesson?
And if one finds love, how does one know if truth has shown up?
